Florida Arbitrator Training
Attendance: For Florida arbitrators only; by invitation only
Description: This program offers a full day of state specific training in accordance with Florida regulations for auto warranty arbitrations.

California Arbitrator Training
Attendance: For California arbitrators only; by invitation only
Description: This program offers a full day of state specific training in accordance with California regulations for auto warranty arbitrations.

New Arbitrator Training
Attendance: By approved application and invitation only.
Description: This program offers 22 1/2 hours of classroom instruction, simulations and participatory exercises related to conducting arbitration hearings, evaluating the positions of the parties and reaching a clear, concise written decision. This program is required for all persons seeking placement on the NCDS National Panel of Dispute Settlers.

Refresher Training
Attendance: By invitation only.
Description: This program is provided to NCDS Arbitrators who have completed Initial Training and served on the NCDS Panel for at least one (1) year. The Training focuses on difficult procedural issues and unusual hearing situations the arbitrator may encounter. Simulations are used extensively and specific exercises are developed based on actual cases. The program includes a decision drafting workshop in which the attendees' actual decisions are reviewed and discussed.

Best Practices Workshop
Attendance: By invitation only.
Description: This program is provided to NCDS Arbitrators with more than three (3) years experience serving as a NCDS Panel member and will be an intensive focus on diverse arbitration issues. The workshop will be structured to provide training and discussion into "best practices" in service as an arbitrator.
